Privacy policy
Short version: if you sign up for The DYLIO Gear Drop, we keep your email address to send you the newsletter, and nothing else.
What we collect
The only personal information this site asks for is your email address, when you sign up for The DYLIO Gear Drop. We don't sell it or share it with sponsors.
How the newsletter works
- Signups are stored and emailed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider. Kit records your email address, when and from which page you signed up, and whether you open or click our emails. Kit processes this data on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum.
- After you sign up, Kit sends a confirmation email. You won't get the newsletter until you confirm.
- We email about twice a month: new releases, fresh rankings and field notes, sometimes with a clearly labeled sponsor.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Click it and you're off the list.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site. Our signup form uses your IP address only for a short-lived limit on repeated signup attempts.
Links to other sites
Product and retailer links take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Questions or removal requests
Email doyoulikeitoutdoors@gmail.com and we'll answer, or delete your address from our list.
